About A.N.A. Doodles
Why did you start breeding?
We wanted to put our passion for dogs to good use. Breeding healthy, happy puppies is our way to give back to the breed and the families who love them. We want nothing more than to see each of our dogs and puppies shine! We are happy to tell you more about what life with one of our dogs is like and how they will not only enhance your daily life, but exceed your expectations!
What makes your program special?
We care deeply about our dogs and puppies, and we do everything we can to ensure they get the best lives possible. That includes everything from choosing healthy parents with good temperaments, to proper socialization and daily care, to placing them in loving homes with wonderful families. We strive to provide each of our puppies and their families with a truly positive experience.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home. A few of our girls live with guardian families nearby and come back to us to whelp and raise their litters.
Are you a certified breeder?
Yes. We are a member of the Goldendoodle Association of North America (GANA) and have been a screened, trusted Good Dog breeder since 2021. Every breeding dog is Embark DNA tested and OFA health tested.
Our puppies
What are the different sizes in your program?
Our Goldendoodles range from mini (about 25–32 lbs) to standard, and our Bernedoodles from mini (about 18–28 lbs) to standard. Sizes vary depending on the parent dogs, and we list the estimated adult weight on every litter.
What are the different coat colors in your program?
Our Goldendoodle puppies include cream, apricot, and red. Bernedoodle puppies include black, black and white, tri-color, and blue merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
How are your puppies socialized?
Every puppy is raised in our home on a structured puppy curriculum: ENS & ESI, daily handling, surface and tactile stimulation, scent introduction, various sounds, car rides, and time with children, other dogs, and people of different ages and appearances — plus visits to new places.
What comes home with my puppy?
A vet check, first round of shots and deworming, vet records, and a microchip, plus a blanket with mom and littermates' scent, food and treats, toys, a puppy starter kit, and a head start on potty training. Your puppy also comes with our health guarantee.
Reserving a puppy
How do I get a puppy from you?
Start with our puppy application. After you complete the application and screening process, Aiza partners with you to find the best puppy match — from a current litter or the next one.
How much is a puppy, and how does the deposit work?
Puppies are $3,500. The price includes the health guarantee, puppy socialization, first round of vaccination, deworming and microchip. A $500 non-refundable deposit reserves your puppy and is applied toward the price; deposits are transferable to our next available litter if your timing or circumstances change. The balance is due when your puppy is ready to go home at 8 weeks, through Gooddog.com, Zelle, Cashapp, Paypal or cash.
Do you provide a contract and health guarantee?
Yes. Every puppy goes home under our Puppy Contract & Health Warranty, a pet-only contract (no breeding rights) that you sign before or at go-home. You can read and download the full contract on our How It Works page, or sign it online and a copy is emailed to you.
Health guarantee & contract
What does your health guarantee cover?
Your puppy is guaranteed to be free from genetic/hereditary defects that can cause death or serious impairment of vital functions until 2 years of age, for conditions the sire and dam could be tested for. We also warranty against severe or life-threatening congenital heart defects and severe hip dysplasia until age two, with a refund up to the purchase price or a one-time replacement puppy if available. To keep the guarantee in effect, your puppy must see a licensed veterinarian for a full exam within 5 days of going home, stay current on vaccinations, and have vet visits documented. Coccidia, Giardia, ACL/CCL tears and the other limitations listed in the contract are not covered.
Do your puppies come with breeding rights?
No. Every puppy is sold as a pet only, without breeding rights, and your puppy should be spayed or neutered at the age your vet recommends. Breeding a puppy without our permission carries the penalties set out in the puppy contract.
Is pet insurance included?
Yes. We partner with Trupanion, which offers complimentary 30-day coverage. Enrolling your puppy in the free 30-day Trupanion policy before or at pickup is a condition of purchase; afterward you can keep the policy at your own expense or cancel it.
What is your return policy?
If a puppy isn't the right fit, you may request to return them for any reason for a refund of the purchase price minus the vet check-up fee and a $500 inconvenience fee. After the first week, returned puppies are rehomed and the rehoming fee goes to the original buyer. We always recommend giving your puppy more than a week to settle in — remember the 3/3/3 rule: 3 days to decompress, 3 weeks to learn your routine, 3 months to feel at home.
Can I visit the puppies before go-home day?
To protect our puppies from parvo and other illnesses while their immune systems are still developing, we don't allow in-person visits. Instead we schedule FaceTime calls so you can meet the puppies, ask questions, and watch their personalities grow.
Pick-up & delivery
How do I pick up my puppy?
Pick up is by appointment only. You can drive or fly to pick up your puppy: families meet us in Cold Spring, Minnesota, or at Minneapolis–St. Paul International Airport, and we can also arrange a flexible meeting point that works for both of us.
Can you deliver my puppy?
Yes. We offer options to safely drop off your new puppy closer to you, including trusted pet transporters. We've delivered puppies as far as Chicago.
