Tested before they're bred

Every one of our breeding dogs is Embark DNA tested and OFA evaluated for hips, elbows, eyes, patellas and heart. Here is where each of them stands.

Embark DNA panel
200+ inherited conditions plus coat, color and size genetics for every parent — so two carriers of the same condition are never paired.
OFA hips & elbows
Radiographs graded by the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals: preliminary before age two, finals after.
OFA eyes (CAER)
An annual exam by a board-certified veterinary ophthalmologist.
OFA heart & patellas
Cardiac auscultation and a patellar luxation evaluation, both registered with OFA.
