Puppy Curriculum
Potty Tray Introduction
House-training starts with us. By go-home day your puppy already understands 'this spot, not that spot'.

Why it matters
Puppies are born wanting to eliminate away from where they sleep and eat. If the environment lets them, that instinct strengthens; if it doesn't, it fades. From about three weeks our pens are split into a sleeping area, a play area and a potty tray with a distinct surface.
Puppies learn to walk to the tray on their own, and later to a grass patch outside. That habit transfers to your home far faster than starting from scratch at eight weeks.
In practice
How the habit is built
Week 3 · The tray appears
A low tray with pellets or turf as soon as puppies can walk to it.
Week 4–5 · Bigger pen, clear zones
Bed, food, play and potty each in their own place; the tray moves further from the bed.
Week 6–7 · Outside trips
Weather permitting, potty trips to grass after meals and naps.
Week 8 · Your plan
Our go-home guide maps the tray habit onto your schedule and door.
